SOFiSTiK Bridge + Infrastructure Modeler – A tool for challenging pedestrian bridge designs

The engineering, consulting and planning company Basler & Hofmann in Zurich, landscape architects DGJ Landscapes and Nau2 Architekten, won the project competition for the pedestrian link between St. Gallen’s old town and the University district. The pedestrian bridge was modelled in Autodesk Revit using the SOFiSTiK Bridge + Infrastructure Modeler and Dynamo. This combination allowed the designers to create a multitude of variants quickly. Furthermore, it provides a solid basis for project planning, including cost estimation, tender documentation and schedule.
