Analysis of Cracked Concrete Slabs in SOFiSTiK

This tutorial, provided by SOFiSTiK AG, illustrates how to perform the analysis of cracked reinforced concrete slabs in SOFiSTiK.

A cracked concrete analysis and design requires a more comprehensive approach in comparison to an uncracked state due to inherent material non-linearity. An inclusion of the cracking effects into the analysis is often required for a wide selection of engineering problems, ranging from the analysis of existing structures to an industrial tank design.

This tutorial discusses the different options to perform either an Uncracked Analysis and Design, a Linear Cracked Analysis (simplified) or a Non-Linear Cracked Analysis (detailed).
