This post covers the last of three steps to perform combination and superposition using the “SOFiSTiK: Superposition Manager – Combination Rules” Task.
A combination rule without actions and loads is like cooking a dish without ingredients.
Running a design requires design load cases dependent on the selected design code. Compiling these load cases by hand is possible and for some projects and specific calculations such as nonlinear analysis necessary.
