Improved CLT Design in SOFiSTiK

The design of timber structures (particularly new engineered material such as CLT) requires specific design procedures that are not easy to implement directly in standard FEM software. Degree of Freedom, taking the vantages of some SOFiSTiK special features (structural areas, edge spring definition, layered material, nonlinearity, etc.), has developed an in-house design procedure that enables checking according to Eurocode 5 any timber building.
