In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to perform a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for your structural model using SOFiSTiK’s LCA Task. Starting from a prepared project with defined materials and geometry, we’ll guide you through the key steps: linking materials with Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) data, calculating embodied impacts, reviewing results, and exporting them for documentation or further analysis.

By the end, you’ll understand how to quantify and compare the environmental performance of your design options directly within SOFiSTiK. Additionally, you gain insight into how the results of different project variants can be compared using Microsoft Excel.

  • How to set up and run the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Task in SOFiSTiK.
