The goal of this video series is to introduce you, as a structural engineer, to the core functions of Revit® and their application in building construction. Upon completion of this Getting Started, you will be able to independently create simple models or effectively edit existing ones.
The Getting Started is divided into four sections
Physical Model
Creation of the building as a volume model in Revit® and introduction to the basic functions of the platform.
Analytical Model
Derivation of an analytical model from the physical model using the SOFiSTiK Analytical Model Generator (AMG).
Refinement and Analysis
Refinement of the model with SOFiSTiK Analysis + Design, checking of loads, cross-sections, and materials.
Analysis and Design
Export of the model to the SOFiSTiK Structural Desktop (SSD) for mesh generation, analysis and design of the components.
