About the Project
The combined road-rail bridge over the Daugava River is a key component of the Rail Baltica project in Latvia, linking the Riga bypass road (A4) with the P85 highway. This dual bridge, unique in the Baltics, will feature separate levels for road and rail traffic, enhancing connectivity and reducing congestion on the Riga HPP dam. The design prioritizes economic feasibility, reduced environmental impact, and adherence to EU transport regulations, ensuring efficient and sustainable infrastructure development.
